Vendor Recommendations
Keystone Global Limited (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) only gives vendor recommendations. These vendors are third-party verified by sites such as Alibaba.com, and not by The Company. Recommendations may be based on a Company representative personally meeting vendors, seeing products, visiting a factory location, purchasing products, or receiving product samples.
The Company is unable to give expert advice on products sold by recommended vendors. The Customer must exercise due diligence by speaking thoroughly with the vendor about product specifications and ensuring the product meets their needs before payment.
When making payments independently, The Company recommends requesting that the vendor create the invoice on the associated vendor platform, such as Alibaba, where platform protections may be available. The Customer has a duty to request relevant certification documents—including, without limitation, Business Licence, RoHS, IPX6, CE, and MSDS—from all recommended vendors, whether or not they are associated with a vendor platform. Customers should confirm that documents remain current and valid.
Purchasing Responsibility
A customer who asks Keystone Global Limited to make purchases on their behalf is responsible for reading the product details sent by The Company on behalf of the vendor and ensuring the requested product accurately meets their requirements.
The Customer is also responsible for requesting further product details, photographs, videos, and direct vendor discussions where necessary to select the correct products.
Shipping, Customs & Duties
Where The Company coordinates or facilitates shipment on behalf of The Customer, The Company acts solely as a logistics coordinator and freight service provider, using designated overseas warehouses, shipping partners, freight agents, and logistics providers.
The Customer remains solely responsible for customs duties, government fees, import permits, invoice and item-description accuracy, storage charges, examination fees, the legality of imported goods, compliance with Jamaican import regulations, and any other regulatory or customs-related charges associated with the shipment.
Jamaica Customs reserves the right to determine customs valuation independently and may apply its own estimated value where an invoice or declared value is deemed insufficient, inaccurate, undervalued, or unjustified. The Company does not guarantee customs clearance, release timelines, or approval by any government authority, and is not liable for additional duties, penalties, delays, inspections, seizures, government holds, or other assessments imposed by Customs or other regulatory authorities.
Liability, Indemnity & Cargo Insurance
The Company will not be held liable for incorrect purchases resulting from The Customer’s negligence or failure to ensure that a product purchased independently, or requested for purchase by The Company, meets their requirements.
The Company will not be held liable for manufacturer faults or other defects outside its control, whether the product was purchased by The Customer or by The Company on the Customer’s behalf.
Where The Company facilitates shipping, it is not liable for delays, losses, or disruptions arising from force majeure events, port congestion, carrier disruptions, third-party negligence, government restrictions, or delays caused by shipping lines or customs agencies beyond its reasonable control.
Cargo insurance availability
Cargo insurance is available at an additional cost. Availability and cost are determined after review of the product-classification details; sensitive products and goods classified as dangerous require individual review. Insurance is not automatic and applies only when arranged and confirmed before shipment. Keystone Global Limited coordinates this option but is not the insurer.
The Customer agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless The Company against claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs, or expenses arising from the Customer’s shipments, operations, declarations, or violations, including attorney fees and legal expenses.
The Company reserves the right to dispose of, abandon, auction, or release cargo with unpaid balances or uncollected shipments after a reasonable period, in accordance with applicable laws and storage policies.
